FIRST Robotics Competition Mar. 2nd at RIT!

As many of you have heard us speak about – the very exciting 2013 (Regional) FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is fast approaching! While the competition is spread over a 4 day period with teams coming from all over the Northeastern states and Canada, we recommend you come on out and see for yourselves what all the excitement is on Saturday, March 2nd at RIT (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM at Gordon Field House – just follow all the signs posted throughout the campus!). Here is the link for specific information about the competition: https://www.rit.edu/news/story.php?id=49736

This event is FREE and open to the public and we can’t say enough about this amazing event that literally changed our lives (Nate and I)! You will be amazed at what you see and experience at this event and I encourage you to bring your kids – even young elementary students will thoroughly enjoy this! Be sure to visit the Pit Area (goggles are provided) and we strongly encourage you and your family to view the competition explanation (prior to attending the event) via the following video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itHNW2OFr4Y

Hope to see you there!

P.S. You do NOT need to be there the entire time – just come and go at whatever times work for you, even if just for an hour, it will be well worth your time…

P.P.S. For our many Summer LEGO Robotics campers – you will see ALL our wonderful high school Summer Camp Assistants competing in this event – be sure to cheer them on and, if possible, personally greet them and wish their teams good luck!!!
