We are a female team of former corporate engineers with years of (NY State Certified) classroom teaching experiences in public and private schools, across all grade levels, K-12, along with also teaching college courses in educational technology. Since 2009, we have provided STEM Education Programs for children of all ages as well as for large classes of visiting foreign students who speak no English. In all of these various contexts, we have met with continued success and have been awarded the 2014 Corporate K-12 STEM Innovation Award by the International Association for STEM Leaders at their invitation-only, Annual Forum in Washington, D.C.

Using and repurposing structural and electronic components across multiple classrooms and grade levels, we continue to develop comprehensive programs, grades K-8, in Engineering Education and, most recently, in STEM-Focused Optics.

Everything is included for launching a successful, introductory unit of study from first unboxing your construction sets and efficiently setting up your classroom to running exciting, end-of-unit, team alliance matches modeled directly after official VEX IQ Robotics Tournaments…

Following this guide, students learn how to build smart robots programmed with motors and sensors. Working collaboratively in their teams of two, each student is assigned individualized Programming Tasks to complete along with, also documenting their learning in Graphical RobotC. This is turn, will provide you (the teacher) data for assessing both teamwork as well as individual student performance results with supporting documentation – as we also continue to do throughout our own classroom teaching.
